Badshahi Masjid (or the King’s Mosque) is situated in Lahore, Pakistan. Built in 1673, this is the 5th largest masjid in the world and one of the finest examples of Mughal/Islamic architecture. This design has a striking resemblance to the Jama Masjid in Dehli, India. If you’re really interested in the history, Wikipedia has an excellent entry on this place, but you’re here to see the pictures. So without further ado, I present to you, the magnificent Badshahi Masjid.
