After waiting for over 5 years, I managed to acquire an amazing macro lens with 1:1 magnification. It is none other than the Sigma 105mm F2.8. I’ve been playing with it for a few months now and wanted to share some of my recent work.
Enjoy!

For those of us who find solace in fiction, Sherlock Holmes is a very familiar name. I was pleasantly surprised to find a restaurant named after him in the heart of London. Absolutely beautiful!
Dubai design district recently hosted their open-to-public meetd3 event a couple of weeks back, and I had the privilege of (ab)using my camera to my heart’s content. With interactive installations by extraordinary artists and plenty of activities for adults and kids alike, it was a must-attend event; I blew my first ever glass globe thingy and it was amazing.
Here’s a glimpse of meetd3 and the Dubai Design District through my lens. Enjoy!
You start your new year, hoping that you’d write more frequently than you did last year. Unfortunately for me, these resolutions are just that; resolutions.
Even though I did my last challenge quite a while back, I do check out the weekly subscription email I receive quite regularly. This week’s challenge spoke to me, prompted me to come out of hibernation and pick up where I left off on this path. I call this one ‘The Road to Nowhere’, taken in 2013 on my one-day road trip to London.
I close my year with the same resolutions again; to write more, to explore more, to share more. Let’s see if it sticks this time!
Love is, inherently, a pure emotion. One of the purest forms of love is between a human and an animal, as this relationship is not bound by expectations.
This right here is my interpretation of this week’s challenge – the pure bond between a kind lady and a lechwe; enjoy!
