Weekly Photo Challenge: Wrong

The Shrine of Shah Rukn-e-Alam, located in Multan, Pakistan, is a sight to behold. This roughly 700-year old structure is part of our cultural heritage and seeing this beautiful work of art being desecrated is just plain sad. The oddity in this photo is fairly obvious; see for yourself.

Blast From The Past – Exploring the Badshahi Masjid

Badshahi Masjid (or the King’s Mosque) is situated in Lahore, Pakistan. Built in 1673, this is the 5th largest masjid in the world and one of the finest examples of Mughal/Islamic architecture. This design has a striking resemblance to the Jama Masjid in Dehli, India.
