Flowers are something that have always fascinated me; macro photography opens up a way to explore this passion on an entirely new level. From the intricate patterns ingrained within to the vein-like tributaries on the petals, everything is mesmerizing; you finally get to appreciate what your high-school biology (botany) teacher tried so hard to get into your thick skull. Here are some of my favorite shots; enjoy!
Hibiscus flower?
Very nice photograph.
Yes it is. And thank you. 🙂
I feel the same way about flowers and macro photography … and then there’s bugs. 😆
Absolutely stunning captures Yousuf! I am into these gorgeous and colourful beauties for sure. I love how you’ve captured the Blue trumpet vine (last shot). We have them here as well. The Black Bumble Bee loves them. 😀
What an amazing collection of macro flowers. Absolutely beautiful!
You are an inspiration; thank you.
These are beautiful! I especially love the first one. The stamen (I think that’s the right word) look like they have glitter on them. Was that raindrops or did they just look like that?
I don’t remember. It was a while back. Thank you for the kind words. 🙂
Thank you for the ink to these. They are so lovely, and the way you’ve captured the intricate details is amazing.
Appreciate the kind compliments, Sandra. 🙂
